  • Abstract
    Based on an analytical formulae of the minimum noise figure for active FET mixers, it is shown that the noise performance of such circuits is strongly related to those of the FET used as a low noise amplifier. Consequently, ultra low noise active FET mixers can be investigated in such a way.
