Abstract :
This paper presents a method for fast computation or Z-parameters of power converters using MATLAB simulation tools. Stability analysis or distributed power converters is based on investigation of an interaction between the output impedance of a converter at one end and the cumulative input impedance of converters at the other end or a DC bus. The existing methods of Z-parameter calculations involve many theoretical derivations. The proposed method eliminates, the need for a tedious theoretical derivation of Z-parameters of the interconnected converters and provides a quick evaluation of stability at any operating point. Through the use of this method, the complexities of a complete nonlinear model are not an obstacle for stability analysis.
