Calculation of probability of an aircraft meeting nuclear clouds

The radioactive dust clouds will rise after a nuclear explosion. When an aircraft which is assigned to fulfil a task pass through them, the nuclear clouds will affect the aircraft. This article put forth an equation and calculates the probability of an aircraft encountering nuclear clouds, in order to inform decision makers regarding the risk to aircrafts as they pass through nuclear clouds.
