Abstract :
The ray tracing method in conjunction with image theory was used in this study to establish an analysis tool for evaluating the properties of EMC chambers. Computer codes were written in Matlab for simulating the normalized site attenuation (NSA), field uniformity (FU), and normalized site transmission loss (NSTL). By the simulation program, NSAs of semi-anechoic chamber and NSTLs of fully anechoic chamber were simulated and compared with measured results. The effects of the second-order reflection on the simulated NSAs of semi- anechoic chambers were discussed.
