Abstract :
This paper will describe the design and measured performance of an ultra-broadband linearised power amplifier intended for general-purpose instrumentation applications. The amplifier utilises a real-time dynamically adaptive predistortion linearisation scheme, which provides a useful linearity improvement over a multi-octave frequency range from HF to SHF.
