Research on web service discovery based on Mobile Agents

The web service application is growing rapidly in the modern network, how to efficiently discover and use the proper services is an important issue that should be solved. On the basis of the modern technology of mobile Agent, this paper proposes a kind of web service discovery architecture. It makes full use the mobile agent´s characteristics of self-adaptable, intelligent, mobility, collaborative and so on to realize service discovery according to the user´s requirement, and finally the appropriate services are returned to users. Lastly, the preliminary implementation of the Mobile Agent architecture is shown in detail.
