Abstract
The Center for Power Electronics Systems (CPES) was established in 1998 as National Science Foundation Engineering Research Center encompassing five partner institutions. Among the objectives of the Center is the development of a distance learning program which crosses institutional boundaries, thus extending access to each campus´ curriculum to students at each of the partner institutions. Since the inception of the Center, and increased number of power electronics and related courses are available via videoconferencing, videotape, videostreaming and satellite.
