Abstract :
A balanced-input/output configuration of the dielectric laminated planar filter is originally investigated. So far, there has been no balanced dielectric filter. Thus first, a balanced coaxial filter is constructed to prove the basic concept. Then various laminated configurations are discussed to reduce the size. Finally, the possibility of the realization is confirmed experimentally. This filter is suitable for next-generation super-compact portable telephones.
