Abstract :
In this paper, an adaptive chaotic encrypted image digital watermarking algorithm based on DCT is presented. First, we design a binary image watermarking signal and encrypted it by a chaotic sequence cipher before it is embedded. In the algorithm, the original image is split into several blocks, then these blocks are classified based on some characteristics of Human Visual System (HVS). According to the classification, watermarking components with different strength are inserted into the Mid-frequency coefficients in DCT domain. The experimental results proved that the watermarks have good perception effect and they are robust enough against Gaussian noise, salt & pepper noise, JPEG, crop procession etc.
