Abstract
Contact-less electrical energy transmission system (CEET) becomes more and more attractive for various applications. A coreless detachable transformer used for CEET is investigated in this paper. Equivalent circuit model of detachable transformer was established and analyzed. And the flux distribution of the proposed detachable transformer was attained using finite element method (FEM). The flux simulation shows that this structure can gather magnetic flux along the perpendicular bisector. Hence, the designed transformer can greatly improve the transmission performance of detachable coreless transformer.
