Abstract :
Power electronics is one of the key enable technologies in hybrid electric and fuel cell vehicles. Based on hands on manufacturer design experiences and a survey of academic researches, this paper tries to address practical design considerations of power electronics in hybrid and fuel cell vehicles by investigating the following areas: circuit topologies, device consideration and design, PWM strategy, and future trends.
