Abstract
Self-bonding magnet wire is used for coils in various combinations of bonding layers and base coats ranging from low thermal class polyurethane to heat-resistant class H polyamideimide. The characteristics of newly developed self-bonding magnet wires with self-lubricating properties and their application to motor windings are discussed. Examples of application where productivity has been improved due to better windability and mold-releasability of the newly developed wires are given
