Abstract :
This paper introduces a driver system and its switching power converter of the switched reluctance motor applied to the electrical vehicle. The system is designed based on the driving IGBT module M57962L. In this paper the process of designing the whole system is detailed. At the end of the paper the results of the experiment shows that the waveform of the driving signal is well so that the IGBT action can be implemented in a high speed. Apart from it, the output voltage of the switching power supply is relatively smooth and reliable. So when the driver system is operated in practice, the electrical vehicle can get high features.
