  • Abstract
    Virtual instrument software LabVIEW is a graphical programming language characterized by easy to be read and understood. So it is suitable for teaching difficult theoretical kinds of courses. Communication theory is a theoretical course and its many concepts are abstract. To solve the problems of hard to learn and teach, a teaching platform for communication theory was built by virtual instrument development tools-LabVIEW in this paper. The platform covers the main contents of the course and demonstrates communication systems animatedly. The novel platform provides a new way for teaching and more resources for campus web. As a example of the communication platform, MSK ((Minimum Shift Keying)) modulation and demodulation simulation system is designed and demonstrated.
