Abstract
The development of wearable biofeedback (BF) systems could be a nontrivial task: very often to build small devices it is required to adopt a software and hardware platform that provides limited features. Their optimal use is a key factor to design a system that exploits performances adequate for the application. The Bio-Feedback framework (BF++) is an award winning C++ set of classes that were designed to scale from workstations to embedded systems by providing high efficiency in both performance and system resource consumption. The main design choices relative to this kind of application are described and a custom brain computer interface (BCI) wearable system is also described.
