Abstract :
This paper analyses the principle of a novel full-bridge/half-bridge hybrid vehicle switches power circuit designed by using phase-shifted PWM technique. main advantages of this circuit are zero-voltage switching under all operating conditions with higher efficiency, higher power density, lower electromagnetic conduction loss penalty, better dynamic response and significant lower filter requirement compared to conventional converters. The application of the proposed converter for vehicle switches power is discussed along with the experiments on the simulated 42V automotive electrical system to verify its good performance.
