Abstract :
Today, more and more problems have been arisen in hybrid electric vehicles (HEV). It has been shown that none of any energy sources can solely fulfil all the demands of HEV in some circumstances. Hybrid energy sources become one alternative solution. This energy storage technology has also become one trend of HEV propulsion sources recently. In this paper, typical hybridization types, the application and the future trends about hybrid energy sources were discussed.
