Abstract
Service-oriented architecture (SOA) technology provides a flexible program for software architecture design by shielding the complexity of the background technology. According to the characteristics of crop genetic resources survey, a distributed SOA-based reference model of Crop Genetic Resources Survey Information System (CGRSIS) was designed by using web services technology in this paper. Then, the hierarchy of the reference model and the service module functions of the system were detailed, and the deployment programs of the system were given. In this reference model, services related to genetic resources serve as the basic elements and were used repeatedly in the different survey process. Distributed CGRSIS has features of Openness, flexibility, scalability, reusability. And the system would greatly facilitate the survey of crop genetic resources in the data entry, data sharing and exchange. With the system, the informationization process of the survey of genetic resources must have a rapid development.
