  • Abstract
    A calculated method is proposed which uses the region areas to modulate the pulse of the corresponding neurons in PCNN. The edge detection for the blurred Image with noise can reduce the noise and obtain a precise edge value of the image. First, based on the analysis of the difference between the edge pixels and the noise pixels, it proposes a method, which suppresses the noise by the region areas. Second, it suggests that image segmentation uses the pulse of the corresponding neurons in PCNN. The experimental results show that this method is effective and feasible.
