Abstract
The sintering behavior of the silver with various glass frits during firing was investigated. At first, the way to measure the degree of the silver sintering was established. To measure the sintering density (=the volume density[%] of solids in the fired film) could tell the degree of sintering objectively. In this study, the sintering density of some silver powders with the various types of glass frit was measured with the ladder of firing temperature. According to this study, the sintering density depended on the viscosity of the glass frit over 650°C firing temperature. It, of course, highly depended on the shape, size and dispersibility of silver powder
