Abstract
To set up a new evalution method in diagnosis of different carcinomas through positive index (PI), sum of direct positive index (SDPI) and sum of indirect positive index (SIPI). PI was defined as a ratio of resulting value (RV) to reference value (RF) in the article. Statistics was carried out to calculated test results of serum tumor markers. With its difference from sensitivity, specificity and accuracy, the three indexes represented different tumors and related diseases. For those diseases which could not be differentiated by positive rates, the SDPI and SIPI would be used to distinguish a varieties of diseases with similar symptoms and provide better references in diagnosis of different carcinomas clinically.
