Abstract :
We construct a high-gain nonlinear observer for parametric and state estimation in a biotechnological process. The construction is based upon the multi-output generalized observability canonical form. A comparative study of observer-based estimators shows that the advantage of the estimator design that we use is the most simple procedure to obtain the observer gain matrix
