Abstract :
An integrated field monitoring system has been studied for sustainable and high quality production of agricultural products by applying some kinds of sensing and information techniques to acquiring and analyzing growth information of crops in cultivation process. This study is conducted under the BIX (the abbreviation of bioinformation exchange) concept. This is the XML standard for the data exchange between sensed data of the information arising on the spot and database, and aims the standardization of the format on all information arising on the spot by opening the format to the public. The purpose of this study is to complete some of the fundamental elemental works for the agro-information sensing using the field server. This study consists of four component subjects: "X-ray fluorescent (XRF) and mid-infrared (MIR) spectroscopic analysis of leaves" for developing a simple, rapid, simultaneous and quantitative method for evaluating nutrimental elements of the plant vigor, "remote monitoring of color of agricultural products" for evaluating the quality, "soil moisture monitoring system" for the high productivity and the high quality, and "development of BIX image broker system" for exchange of the digital image and the data
