  • Abstract
To study the effects of 32P irradiation with different dose on apoptosis in rat prostate cells cultured in vitro. The prostate cells were cultured in vitro, grouped (high dose irradiation group, low dose irradiation group and control group) and irradiated with different doses of 32P, the apoptosis of rat prostate cells were detected by flow cytometry (FCM), TUNEL and MTT after irradiation. The percentage of apoptosis in low dose irradiation group and in control group was little, which was much in high dose irradiation group(P<;0.01). Compared with the control group, the viability of rat prostate cells in low dose irradiation group decreased(P<;0.05), more decreased in high dose irradiation group(P<;0.01). Low dose irradiation can induce little apoptosis and high dose irradiation can apparently lead to more apoptosis in rat prostate cells.
