  • Abstract
    To evaluate selection of surgical procedures and microsurgical techniques for one-stage hypospadias repair. 269 cases were treated with microsurgical techniques and different method of urethroplasty. 93 cases were treated for the first time and 76 cases were return visit. The average volume of blood was 30 ml and the mean operation time was 100 minutes. There was no case of infection or necrosis of forming urethra. Penis straightened well and urinary meatus was at the normal position. Postoperative complications were urinary fistula and urethral stricture. 7 cases of urethral stricture happened in the operation of Duckett. 4 cases were cured by dilation and 2 cases were cured by discission and underwent another operation. 1 case was cured by urethral bracket. Urinary fistula could happen in all the operations. The total number was 38 cases. Hypospadias should be operated on an earlier age. With microsurgery, selection fitable surgical procedures, more experience and better techniques, we can get satisfied results.
