Abstract :
In this paper, we proposed an enhanced single-hop peer-to-peer lookup algorithm. With the improvement on the messages dissemination, our algorithm achieves more flexible network loading distribution and pretty better time saving performance than other single-hop DHT algorithms. In the experimental results, we further show that our enhanced single-hop peer-to-peer lookup algorithm makes a reasonable maintenance consuming as a trade-off for the efficiency of lookup, and also gets fairer network loading balance in the system.
