  • Abstract
    In order to depress the severe Inter-Symbol Interference (ISI) caused by multi-path fading, channels must be equalized in underwater communication systems. A new decision feedback blind equalization algorithm based on joint combining frequency diversity is proposed in this paper. The new algorithm has a better performance via full using joint combine method to maximum the diversity advantage, and using the frequency diversity to overcome the effect caused by the multipath transmission, based on the decision feedback algorithm. The simulated results under acoustic channels show that the algorithm is effective.
