Abstract
Summarized the skull defect cases caused by craniocerebral trauma of our hospital in the past 5 years. To research the clinical applications of Titanium Mesh Multipoint Forming Shaping in Craniocerebral Trauma Patients. The following aspects were analyzed: the different irritation to soft tissue between different repair materials, difficulty of shaping, anesthesia and surgery time, appearance satisfaction, and postoperative complications. The surgical procedures are simple. It can greatly reduce shaping time, anesthesia time and operation time, reduce the risk of surgery, and greatly reduce the chances of postoperative infection and hydrops. The multi-point forming technology reduces the intensity of the work of Neurological Surgeons, decrease the postoperative complications. It can significantly improve the patients´ quality of life; reduce the use of titanium screw to save operation costs. The multi-point forming technology in titanium mesh shaping is much better than other skull repair technology. It creates huge economic and social benefits.
