Abstract :
In order to improving the quality of small-diameter thick-walled seamless steel tube, metal flow and stress distribution in the deformation zone were analyzed in this paper. Three-dimensional modeling, initial and boundary conditions were established. The rigid-plastic FEM simulator was used to analyze the deformation processing. The strain and stress distribution were gained. The axial rolling velocity distribution along the length of deformation zone was obtained. The simulation results show that the second deformation zone has biggest elongation. The protrusion amount of piercing plug was impacted the quality in inner hole of quality. Backward phenomenon existed in the whole deformation zone.
