Abstract :
This paper describes a 2.4 GHz, clock recovery module which can be used for B-ISDN (broadband ISDN) and SDH (synchronous digital hierarchy). This module is comprised mainly of three GaAs ICs, a SAW filter and some surface mount devices using multichip module technology. As result, low power dissipation, control of changes in output duty ratio over a wide operating temperature range and low output jitter have been realized in this module. Besides, a compact size of one-fifth that obtained by conventional packaging technology (using packaged ICs on the printed circuit board) was achieved
