Abstract :
A new design of positioning device for the hollow intramedullary nail is presented, which is based on profiled magnetic body. The design uses sensing technology, information capture and processing, DSP fuzzy control technology. A new method of the high-temperature disinfection of signal source and sensor is introduced. The clinical application shows that it has a lower positioning error in thighbone-tibia surgery and meets the need of required precision in surgical operation. The new device not only shortens the operation period, but also alleviates suffering of patients, and the new design has high value of clinical applications.
