Abstract :
Using Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) and microwave circuit simulation tools the use of Defected Ground Structures (DGS) in microstrip low pass, band stop and band pass filters is investigated. The results obtained show that filters with very simple structures can be produced with good and predictable frequency responses.
