Abstract :
The author discusses the application of sliding-mode control techniques to DC-AC converters, driven by dual current mode PWM modulators that maintain constant frequency operation and provide output current clipping facilities. Sliding-mode control is advantageous when the inverter is designed to perform as a switching power operational amplifier, or might withstand a wide range of loads. Its performance is compared with that of other methods
