Abstract :
Branchings of rectangular waveguides, in particular, H-plane waveguide T-junctions are the canonical geometric shapes, that have been widely used in waveguide circuits over a long period of time. For wide band matching of the H-plane tee with a conductive lug, it has been proposed to bring the additional matching elements based on a frequency-selective structure, formed by rectangular (also rectangular with rounded inner angles) ledges made in the side walls of side waveguide. A tee with two compensative ledges has been considered. Such design distinguishes with unit simplicity that simplifies its production in the millimeter range. Moreover, such a way of matching improves the electric strength that makes it possible to be used in devices operating at increased power levels
