  • Abstract
A MIMO RLS control algorithm is developed to automatically shape and control a signal produced by an AN/FPN44A Loran-C transmitter in simulation using digital signal processing techniques. The input signal to the transmitter amplifying tubes is formed to produce a desired output signal. A MATLAB computer program that simulates the Loran-C 44A tube transmitter is used to test and analyze the control algorithm. The successful results can be used in the US Coast Guard efforts to redesign various portions of the Loran-C tube-transmitter equipment to enhance and expand automation with new technology
