  • Abstract
The dispersion properties of slow electromagnetic surface waves propagating across external magnetic field in planar metallic waveguides with dielectric coating and nonuniform plasma filling on the harmonics of electron cyclotron frequency are studied in this paper. Analytical and numerical research of the surface modes is carried out using the kinetic description for the plasma particles without taking into account the mechanisms of damping. Effect of the transverse plasma cyclotron waves (SCW) spectrum is investigated. The density plasma inhomogeneity is modeled by a set of plasma layers with uniform density. The Maxwell equations system with boundary conditions is solved in order to obtain the dispersion equation. The topology of electromagnetic wave field is found by transform Fourier method and summing up Watson method
