Abstract
In order to examine the mediating role of Supply Chain Collaboration between embeddedness and corporate performance, a model was developed which included 116 apparel firms in Quanzhou, China. It was found that firms with high scores on embeddedness were more likely to have high SCC level. SCC and social embeddedness also had positive effects on performance. Economic embeddedness could have positive effect on performance only when the supply chain is mature. Institutional embeddedness has no direct influence on corporate performance. The mediating role of SCC between economic embeddedness and corporate performance was verified.
