Abstract
This paper deals with the design and implementation of a 6th order 4 Hz low-pass OTA-C filter in a 1.2 μm CMOS analog technology. The linearized 1 nA/V OTAs are implemented by using a CMOS transistor biased in triode region and current cancellation techniques. The capacitors are scaled up by a factor proportional to the ratio of transistor dimensions. These techniques allow us to design ICs with very large time constants. The filter´s dynamic range is 39 dB while the harmonic distortion components are below to -50 dB
