Abstract
In this paper, we propose a novel cross layer opportunistic scheduling strategy with interference control for multiple cognitive users working at the same area with a primary user. The proposed scheduler incorporates multidimensional factors into the scheduling rule, and attempts to satisfy multiple QoS requirements and achieve fairness among multiclass cognitive users, while at the same time using the bandwidth efficiently and decreasing the average interference to the primary user. Simulation results show that our scheme can decrease the interferences to a primary user without significantly dropping the QoS.
