Abstract

A graphic teach-yourself SPSS-based statistics interactive tool is presented in this article, which consists of a Web portal and an emulator of the SPSS statistics package. From the webpage, students will be able to download didactic material that will introduce them to the programme. The developed SPSS emulator allows the student to learn how to use the programme and guides in the execution of Statistics exercises in an interactive way. It is intended that the student have available a complementary teaching aid to that of the instructor facilitating the learning of statistics by computer. The tool aims to develop independent student self-learning following guidelines established by the European Space for Higher Education (ESHE).
