Abstract :
SMART (Seoul Multimedia Advanced Research Testbed) is a new network architecture and associated systems that will support high-speed multimedia applications of the future. The SMART testbed is an experimental campus-wide network composed of a high-speed LAN, a gateway to a broadband network and many servers. Laboratories at Seoul National University are expected to conduct research over the testbed. The author presents the requirements, network architecture, and testbed configuration
