Abstract :
A number of known transformation between analog and discrete systems are expressed in terms of transformations between the state space representations of these systems. The transformations discussed are complex domain transformations; classical frequency-domain transformations, including analog to digital, digital to digital, and analog to analog; and numerically induced transformations consisting of forward and backward integration rules, quadrature formulas, and signal invariant transformations
