Abstract :
A novel timing and frequency synchronization algorithm in OFDM system is proposed, which is based on symmetrical & conjugate prefix, and the expression of likelihood function is presented. Sharp correlation curve of symbol timing can be obtained using the symmetrical and conjugate character of prefix. Simulation shows that the proposed method can achieve a more accurate timing offset estimation and frequency synchronization than that based on cycle prefix.
