Resource management by variance analysis of capacity costing

This paper presents a framework for expanding the variance analysis of capacity costing to provide better management information for decision-making. The framework illustrates the methodology to analyze the difference between standard capacity costs and actual results to identify the variance of resource. The framework enhances the traditional variance analysis for resource management and performance evaluation. The paper uses a practical value to identify the feasibility of the framework.
