Risk management for international construction projects

Risk management for international project is a relatively new problem for Chinese construction companies. The research in this paper first introduces the risk management techniques for international construction projects, then analyzes the characteristics of the international projects, and finally puts forward some useful countermeasures to the possible risks which are likely to occur during the execution of the international construction projects. The research method of this paper is to apply the risk management techniques to the international construction projects which the Chinese companies have been contracting and is aimed to introduce some helpful risk management techniques for those companies.
