Abstract :
A lightweight resource reservation protocol for unicast Internet traffic is described. The key feature of the protocol is that resources can be reserved on a per-connection basis without introducing connection states in the network. Issues addressed in the paper include robustness against lost signalling messages, route changes and robustness against theft-of-service attacks
