Abstract :
Curriculum reform of basic education in China is being carried out throughout the whole country. With deepening of the reform, some potential problems are exposed gradually. A large number of Chinese teachers and schools just sham to reform, which arouses extensive attention and introspection. The main reason is that two contradictions are unsolved. One is in educational system - present conditions lag behind the high demand of curriculum reform; The other one is outside the educational system - contradiction between urgent educational demand of the Chinese people and insufficient higher education resource. China can´t yet solve the two contradictions immediately. Under these circumstances, Chinese basic education curriculum reform should avoid advancing too fast and rashly, also avoid overthrowing the old system too drastically before the new has been formed. It´s better to construct new curriculum system quickly first and then make old system gradually withdraw.
