Abstract
This paper discusses the effects of the introduction of a personal computer with digital signal processor which can perform high-speed parallel processing with pipeline operation to FEM. The DSP is about 200 times faster than the personal computer with C language. The application of the modified symmetric band-matrix technique makes the calculation time faster than with basic symmetric band-matrix
