Abstract :
Takes advantage of a result on robust stability and formulates an LMI based optimization problem to maximize the real stability radius of a system by state feedback. Since a Metzlerian system admits a closed form expression for its stability radius, one can impose its constrained structure in the stabilization of a general system and at the same time maximize the stability radius
