Abstract
A novel power adaptation scheme, based on the terminal velocity instead of channel state information (CSI), in OFDM systems over rapidly time-varying channels, is proposed. Simulation results show that the proposed power adaptation scheme based on the velocity variation is effective for improving the performance of OFDM systems in fast fading channels.
